We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven District Sales Manager to assist with sales operations in Southern California, specifically Orange County and San Diego County. This role involves managing and supporting a team of sales representatives, driving business growth, and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and winery partners. The position requires a strategic mindset, hands-on leadership, and a consistent presence in the market.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of wine industry sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership capacity
  • Comprehensive knowledge of California wines, varietals, and appellations
  • Demonstrated success in managing and motivating sales teams
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Residency in, and strong connections within, Orange County or San Diego County
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds and travel frequently within the territory
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales objectives
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities while supporting the growth of existing accounts
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Maintain a strong in-field presence (3–4 days/week) to engage directly with accounts and the market
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with customers and winery partners
  • Represent the company and our wineries at tastings, wine dinners, trade shows, and industry events
  • Act as a brand ambassador for our portfolio, ensuring alignment with winery goals and standards
