ABOUT US
Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a wonderful place to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a District Unique Patient Identification (UPI) Analyst. This critical role is responsible for monitoring and analysing the data integrity of core patient management and information systems, with a focus on ensuring the unique registration of patients and clients across the district. The successful candidate will manage potential patient duplicates, maintain the quality of patient registrations, and ensure consistency of patient identifiers and demographic data across multiple systems.
This position plays a key role in supporting the accuracy and reliability of electronic health records within NBMLHD, contributing to the State Enterprise Registry (EPR), the State Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR), the NSW HealtheNet Portal, and the National My Health Record. In addition to technical responsibilities, the role involves educating staff on patient registration protocols and merging processes to uphold best practices in data management.
This role is offered as an initial 12 month contract from the date of commencement, with possible extension.
If you’re passionate about data integrity and want to make a meaningful impact in healthcare information systems, we invite you to apply and become part of a team dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality care through accurate and reliable patient data.
