We are currently seeking a District Vice-President Sales/Wholesaler to join our Sales team . In this role, the successful candidate is expected to develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy to increase CI’s market share within the territory; develop a territory coverage strategy and communication plan with existing and prospective advisors; and educate and develop advisor knowledge of CI investment solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Increase sales and grow CI’s market share
  • Build consultative relationships with Advisors and staff
  • Work closely with Sales Coordinators to implement territory plan, prospect and maintain existing relationships (includes providing guidance and coaching)
  • Fully adopt and effectively use CI’s CRM platform to maximize sales results in the territory
  • Master CI’s investment message
  • Represent CI at regional and national conferences
  • Consistently improve and develop product knowledge, sales skills and efficiencies
  • Effectively leverage senior management in the sales process
  • Work closely with the National Accounts and Internal Wholesalers to identify and execute on specific firm and advisor initiatives
  • Use deliberate, thoughtful scheduling and calendar management in order to maximize client time and to ensure activity corresponds to territory priorities
