Our Reading Coach works with teachers to improve student achievement and increase instructional capacity. General Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with Reading Specialists and classroom teachers to promote and enhance literacy instruction and experiences for all studentsAssist teachers in developing strategies to meet the range of individual student needsConsult with classroom teachers regarding instructional materials/softwareCollaborate with teachers to analyze data, plan, and determine instructional interventionsOrganize/facilitate the district Instructional Support Team (IST)Collaborate between levels to align literacy strategies and curriculumProvide leadership in refining the quality of classroom instruction in literacy.
