JMT is currently ranked #50 on Engineering News-Record’s list of the Top 500 Design Firms.   Position Summary:  JMT's Trenton NJ Underwater Inspection team is seeking a diving inspector/tender to be responsible for completing dives for underwater inspections.     Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.    Compensation is $30.00-$33.00/hour, commensurate with experience, education, and certifications.   Essential Functions and Responsibilities * Check diving equipment to ensure it is functioning properly prior to dives * Use diving equipment to complete underwater dives * Review and interpret plans and drawings. * Complete underwater inspections for construction, bridge, and/or marine structures to ensure compliance to plans and codes * Record all inspection data and assists in the completion of inspection reports * Field work required, which could be performed during nights and weekends * Report any medical problems or symptoms experienced during or after the dive * Report any equipment issues, other potential hazards, near misses or accidents * Actively observes and acts in an appropriate manner related to safety * Team-oriented individual committed to achieving group goals   Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities * Perform other related engineering duties.
