JOB DESCRIPTION

The Diverse Customer Segments Team (Black & 2SLGBTQ+ Customers) team’s mandate is to develop customer-centric OneTD segment strategy to gain market share. The team is line of business agnostic and collaborates across all lines of business to improve the segments customer experience and drive business.
The team owns the enterprise strategy for Black Customer and 2SLGBTQ+ segments. In addition, the team is responsible to drive business volumes through our own distribution arm, 11 regional managers across Canada, who are conduits between TD and the communities they work in.

Examples of completed & upcoming initiatives:

  • Social Media Ambassadorship program for 2SLGBTQ+ and Black Community Business Development Managers
  • Launch of Black Entrepreneur Credit Access Program
  • Creation of TD Forever Proud Silver Round Coin (in partnership with TD Securities Precious Metals)
  • Launch of internal Forever Proud App for prospect referrals (in partnership with Technology)
  • Launch & ownership of dedicated TD Diverse Customer Segments channel via LinkedIn
  • Creation of accreditation program for 500+ TD frontline bankers
  • Development & sustainment of national community collaborations with external organizations such as Canadian Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, Black Opportunity Fund, Queer Tech, Canadian Association of Black Lawyers and others.
  • Support in strategy development and execution to better serve 2SLGBTQ+ and Black communities
  • Support the team in communication strategy development
  • Perform data and market analysis and synthesize insights to inform decision making
  • Support in development of marketing and sales collateral tools, and processes
  • Collaborate with business development team to provide resources and support business development activities

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
  • Skillful communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and partnership skills to balance stakeholder input while remaining objective and resilient to reach the right outcomes
  • Excellent PowerPoint/presentation skills and the capability to synthesize key information for senior-level consumption
  • Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset is an asset
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels that are located in multiple locations
  • Growth mindset and willing to learn
  • Comfortable in ambiguous environment
