This is a critical role supporting the ongoing management and evolution of our innovative approach to inclusion, equity and diversity. This role is suitable for full or part time (0.8 FTE) work arrangements. To be successful in this role, you will possess: A solid understanding of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging field, including latest philosophies, trends and disruptive practices. A personal style that is warm, person-centred and humorous when appropriate. The ability to relate to, communicate and collaborate with people at all levels of the company. Strong personal organisation and program management skills to ensure multiple programs, events and networks are managed effectively. Ability to adapt to changing situations and fast paced environments. Ability to collect, analyse and interpret data from various sources to use in decision-making. Ability to think innovatively and challenge existing norms to solve problems and achieve a goal. Experience operating and advising at an executive level. How will you support our “Why?” As our DEI Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing our approach to DEI by delivering the following: Working closely with the Talent Manager in supporting the development and delivery of Aussie’s Inclusion & Diversity strategy, and framework, that evolves our approach by working with leaders and staff across the business to support and implement change. Supporting our DEI Council and DEI special interest committees and networks to ensure they are aligned with the DEI strategic goals. Providing and sharing thought leadership in the latest diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging trends and disruptive practices both in Australia and the Globe. Managing the annual WGEA reporting process. Managing participation in inclusion initiatives such as the Australian Workplace Equality Index. Developing and reporting on inclusion targets that are consistent with Aussie’s approach and values. Representing Aussie Broadband with a range of external stakeholders on inclusion and diversity issues. Ready to join?
