Job Description Location Abu Dhabi, UAE / Offshore Sector Oil & Gas / Offshore Marine Services Job Purpose To oversee diving operations and ensure compliance with applicable diving safety standards, operational procedures, and reporting requirements, with full responsibility for the safety and health of the dive team. We are seeking experienced Marine Consultancy Services Professionals to support offshore marine operations, inspections, engineering reviews, diving supervision, and vessel/barge representation activities for major offshore oil and gas projects. These roles require strong offshore experience, solid understanding of marine safety and operational standards, and the ability to work in demanding offshore project environments. Suitable candidates will be assigned based on project needs across marine inspection, advisory, engineering, diving, and offshore construction support functions. Key Responsibilities Review diving CVs and assess diving team competency against project requirements Inspect diving spreads and verify compliance with recognized diving standards Ensure diving operations are conducted from safe and suitable locations Verify that all dive team personnel are qualified and medically fit for assigned tasks Confirm diving equipment is suitable, inspected, and fully operational Ensure all manuals, decompression tables, treatment schedules, and regulatory documents are available and current Maintain and submit diving reports, maintenance records, and incident documentation Follow up on emergency and contingency planning Conduct briefings, job hazard reviews, and toolbox talks before diving activities Lead post-dive critiques and provide recommendations for improvement Qualifications IMCA Supervisor certification One HSE certification such as NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent Strong report writing and technical English skills Experience Minimum 6 years as Diving Supervisor Relevant supervisory experience in inspections, maintenance, and construction after certification Competence in diving equipment inspection and audits For Diving Spread Inspector assignments, candidates must hold IMCA-accredited diving system inspector certification (surface-oriented system) Additional Information Successful candidates will typically demonstrate: Strong offshore oil and gas marine experience Sound knowledge of marine safety, HSE, and operational procedures Experience working with offshore vessels, barges, or marine construction units Good technical reporting and communication skills in English Ability to work in offshore operational environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Strong compliance mindset and familiarity with international marine standards and best practices Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted Contract/country: Unlimited Job family: Workshop - Maintenance
