Division 10 Estimator / Project Manager About Kamco Supply Kamco Supply Corp. of New England is one of the largest independent distributors of commercial building materials in the United States, supplying drywall, ceilings, steel framing, insulation, and specialty construction products to contractors and developers nationwide. As part of our continued growth, our Liverpool/Syracuse branch is expanding its Division 10 specialties operation and is seeking a motivated, organized, and hands-on Estimator / Project Manager to help build and grow the division locally. Position Overview This role is responsible for managing commercial Division 10 projects from estimating through final completion. The ideal candidate can operate independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and communicate effectively with contractors, vendors, field personnel, and customers. This is not strictly a desk estimating position - the role requires full-cycle project ownership including estimating, procurement, scheduling, coordination, and execution. Responsibilities Perform takeoffs and estimate Division 10 projects Prepare proposals, bids, and quotations Read and interpret blueprints and specifications Manage projects from award through closeout Coordinate submittals, procurement, deliveries, and scheduling Communicate with contractors, vendors, installers, and customers Manage timelines, change orders, and project documentation Monitor project progress, costs, and jobsite issues Products & Scope Projects may include: Toilet partitions & bathroom accessories Wall protection systems Lockers and shelving Fire extinguisher cabinets Visual display boards Specialty doors and hardware Miscellaneous Division 10 specialties Qualifications 3+ years of commercial construction estimating or project management experience preferred Strong ability to read construction drawings and specifications Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience with Division 10, interiors, drywall, ceilings, or related trades is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office Valid driver's license required What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Self-motivated and solution-oriented Detail-oriented and highly organized Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment Able to take ownership of projects from start to finish A strong communicator with both office and field personnel Compensation & Benefits Kamco Supply offers competitive pay based on experience, health benefits, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and opportunities for long-term career growth.
