We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in accurately and competitively pricing construction projects. Your expertise in estimating, project analysis, and market knowledge will be essential in helping us win and execute projects successfully. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, a deep understanding of construction materials and methods, and excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the estimation process for construction projects of varying size and complexity, including but not limited to residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Prepare detailed and competitive bids, taking into account materials, labor, equipment, subcontractor costs, and overhead expenses.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential clients through in-person meetings, phone calls, email communication, and social networking platforms.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine project requirements, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure timely submission of quotes.
- Develop and manage cost budgets for construction projects, tracking costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a proven track record of successfully bidding and winning projects.
- Experience in the construction industry with proficient knowledge in Division 9 required.
- Experience using Estimating software.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
