Description We are seeking a highly analytical, hands-on and results-driven Division Controller to oversee all financial and accounting activities at our production facility. This role is a key business partner to plant leadership, providing financial insights that drive operational efficiency, cost control, and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and GAAP. Ensure a smooth and successful annual audit by maintaining accurate and well-organized financial records. Month-End Close: Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statement preparation. Cost Management: Analyze production costs, variances, and inventory, providing actionable insights to improve profitability and cost efficiency. Responsible for inventory valuation and standard costing systems. Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive the plant’s budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with operational goals and identifying cost control opportunities. Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and internal controls to maintain financial integrity and accuracy. Collaboration & Support: Partner with plant management to provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and operational improvements. Team Leadership: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including direct reports, to foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring high performance and alignment with organizational goals. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting. CPA is a plus. 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, 5+ yrs in an accounting leadership position Strong knowledge of cost accounting, job costing, and variance analysis. Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. Skilled in account reconciliation, cost analysis, and financial reporting. Proven ability to drive change and process improvements through cross-functional collaboration. Hands-on approach with a keen interest in the manufacturing process and collaboration with production teams.
