SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years relevant experience with bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Knowledge/experience with SAP/PRA, Quorum Land
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Motivated to deliver results in a performance-driven environment through active participation in personal development and the development of others
  • Strong analytical and technical skills enabling delivery of quality work products
  • Effective collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills, including advocacy and influencing
  • Knowledge of oil and gas law and state specific ownership related law, including statutory guidelines, unclaimed property regulations, probate/laws of descent and distribution, contracts, etc
  • Capable of exercising business judgment/sound decisions through independent risk analysis and recommendations
  • Professionalism in the handling of confidential and proprietary company information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

WHAT ROLE YOU WILL PLAY IN OUR TEAM

Responsible for setting up and maintaining division of interest decks on operated and non-operated wells for revenue distribution, including but not limited to calculation/verification of net revenue interest, identification of title requirements for suspense purposes, application of lease marketing free provisions, creation of burden groups and calculation of APO interest.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Analyze curative and ownership-related documents such as deeds, probate, and assignments in order to make mineral, royalty, and working interest ownership updates and resolve GWI/NRI discrepancies
  • Collaborate with Land, Legal, Accounting and other internal departments to ensure alignment and compliance
  • Experience in working with external working/royalty interest owners and Government/regulatory agencies
  • Responsible for review of suspended revenues and ensuring monies are distributed accurately and timely
  • Assist with acquisition, divestiture, due diligence, internal/external audits, data conversions, unclaimed property and other special projects
