Description

GROWTH AND EXPANSION OF SERVICE LINE

  • Serve as centralized point person for Mountain Division W&C services. Negotiate deployment of resources and investment across sites with division and facility stakeholders.
  • Partner with division VP Network Integration to identify and close gaps related to W&C patient retention
  • Provide strategic direction, expertise and support related to secondary market growth/capture of W&C services
  • Lead development of optimal perinatal model and corresponding physician contracting strategy.
  • Assist hospitals with identification of best obstetric strategy and assist with execution where helpful.
  • Develop and secure formal relationships with acute care hospitals seeking pediatric and perinatal hospital partners. Lead operational assessments and gap analyses for moving forward with partnerships. Quantify success and track outcomes.
  • Elevate consistency of deployment of the various markets’ brand at Mountain Division facilities. Assist hospitals with branding, physical space consistency, staff support of concept, uniforms and other ties to Women & Children programming.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for planning, data capture, market share, opportunity assessment, marketing, sales and other growth-oriented functions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • A current working knowledge of the women’s and pediatric spectrum of services, connecting maternal-fetal medicine, inpatient, outpatient, and primary care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility in working with administrators, physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and improve disease specific programs.
  • Promote safety, health and quality of life for patients as a first priority at all times which guides the creation and growth of Women and Children programs.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to follow through on issues.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain long-term customer relations, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in healthcare related field or business field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years healthcare management experience required. Administrative services and/or program development preferred.

Responsibilities

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

  • Responsible for strategic direction and growth of W&C services across the Mountain Division.
  • Develop and implement business plans to support the continued growth and success of the service line within the Division.
  • Establish and lead a cohesive organizational and governance structure that supports the hospitals.
  • Provide operational oversight for select growth programs. Ensure the financial viability of initiatives.
  • Collaborate with W&C Corporate SL Leadership for best practices and growth opportunities
  • Drive physician recruitment and alignment strategies specific to W&C services
  • Establish collaborative relationships with various departments and managers within the Mountain Division hospitals and its community partners.
  • Engage and support pediatricians, neonatologists, obstetricians, perinatologists, pediatric specialists as integral parts of the development of Women’s and Children’s programs within the Mountain Division.
  • Design, plan and implement programs that promote the mission of developing Mountain Division facilities to promote the health of their communities’ services.
