DIVISIONAL EXTERNAL AFFAIRS MANAGER

Location: Newcastle, Durham or Teesside (with travel across multiple regions)

Now, we’re looking for a dynamic External Affairs Manager to join our Yorkshire & North East division and make an impact in shaping how we engage with the media, stakeholders, and local communities.

• Lead and support the delivery of an external affairs strategy across 6 key operating businesses in the region.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and press activity for planning applications, ensuring local authorities, MPs, and decision-makers are well informed.
• Proactively generate press coverage and public-facing content to shape public perception and strengthen Persimmon’s presence.
• Engage with key political stakeholders at a local and regional level, advocating Persimmon’s interests while understanding industry trends.
• Coordinate and host events for key stakeholders and the press, ensuring the right messages reach the right audiences.
