Responsibilities

Reporting to the AU Finance Manager and based at either our Clayton or Epping office in a hybrid working model this position is required to provide financial business partnering & accounting support to the Bulk Logistics management team to achieve growth objectives.

The primary purpose of the role includes responsibility for the following areas:

  • Financial Reporting & Forecasting: Deliver accurate monthly forecasts and reports; provide timely insights to the Finance Manager.
  • Prime Materials Cost Control: Analyse cost variances and develop models to manage fibre resource complexity.
  • R&M Analytics: Enhance reporting and dashboards (Qlik) to identify cost drivers and support operational decisions.
  • Capital Expenditure (CWIP): Manage Capex projects from proposal to capitalisation, ensuring accurate costing and budget alignment.
  • Major Shutdown (MSD) Management: Oversee MSD costs, resources, and contracts; drive continuous improvement and milestone tracking.
  • Budgeting: Integrate cost line data into the annual budget process.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Financing/Accounting roles.

  • Logistics/Supply Chain environment background (desirable)
  • SAP experience (desirable)
  • Hyperion experience (desirable)
  • Effective, clear and confident communication
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong skills in issue resolution
  • Ability to work within deadlines
  • The ability to take the initiative and seek continuous improvement
  • A working knowledge of SAP
  • Good computer skills and sound keyboarding abilities
