As part of the management team within Medicine your role will be fundamental in leading on the operational aspects of a Clinical Business Unit (CBU). This role will be pivotal in operational leadership, strategy, planning, implementation and delivery of a number of key national and local targets (including but not limited to operational, financial and performance) You will provide visionary, supportive guidance and leadership to enthusiastic and experienced multi professional teams. This role will give you the opportunity to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, developing your communication and negotiation skills. You will have the opportunity to work alongside all Divisional teams to manage the operational process in its entirety for your respective CBU.
You should be well organised and creative in your approach to problem solving with the ability to communicate effectively with staff from different disciplines. Effective and timely communication between the Trust and external agencies will also be essential.
