OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and culturally knowledgeable DJ with a strong background in Afrobeat and related African music genres to perform at live events, clubs, festivals, and private functions. The DJ will be responsible for curating and mixing high-energy sets that showcase Afrobeat’s rhythmic and melodic diversity while engaging a wide range of audiences.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven live performance experience as a DJ specialising in Afrobeat and related African genres.
• Strong knowledge of Afrobeat history, artists, and current music trends.
• Excellent mixing skills and ability to blend multiple genres.
• Comfortable performing for diverse audiences.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Music production or remixing experience in Afrobeat style.
• Knowledge of stage lighting and visual effects integration.
