The Opportunity  Djerring Flemington Hub is a vibrant, inclusive community space at the heart of Moonee Valley. We are seeking enthusiastic and community-minded individuals to join our team as Djerring Flemington Hub Officers. In this role, you will be the face of the Hub, providing a welcoming, professional and responsive experience to community members, visitors and hirers. You’ll support the day-to-day operations of the facility, assist with bookings and administration, and help ensure the Hub remains a safe, accessible and engaging space for all. This is a hands-on role that combines customer service, administration and operational support. Key Responsibilities * Deliver high-quality customer service via phone, online and face-to-face, including reception and concierge support  * Administer facility hire processes, including bookings, invoicing and customer liaison  * Support financial processes such as payments, purchase orders and procurement activities  * Open and close the Hub and support day-to-day operations in line with policies and procedures  * Assist with room setup and provide support to hirers using the facility and equipment  * Maintain accurate records, booking data and reporting information  * Provide general administrative support to the Hub team  * Respond to enquiries and connect community members with relevant Council services  * Monitor the facility, lodge maintenance requests and complete OH&S checks  * Supervise casual staff when required Skills & Experience The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience in a customer service and/or administrative role, ideally within a community, cultural or public facility setting, along with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. You will have sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using booking or financial systems, as well as the ability to manage administrative processes such as invoicing, record keeping and data entry. A high level of cultural awareness and sensitivity is essential, particularly when working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Relevant post-secondary qualifications in administration, community services or a related field, or equivalent experience, will be highly regarded.
