Description JOB OVERVIEW: The DME Coordinator role is responsible for coordinating durable medical equipment ordering, procurement/delivery, training new employees on DME products and posting charges at The Orthopaedic Institute. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Maintain inventory of all DME products DME Application Posts DME charges Ordering and receiving order in Inventory Management software Train employees on DME process and procedures Cleaning/stocking Ensure blood borne pathogen, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and other governmental regulations are adhered to. Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to. Other duties as assigned Requirements QUALIFICATIONS/LICENSE: DME experience preferred EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years of medical office experience preferred SKILLS: Excellent customer service skills. Comfortable working in fast paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient with computer skills including experience with practice management software desired. Travel may be required to existing or new TOI locations.
Responsibilities
The DME Fitter is responsible for coordinating the ordering and procurement of durable medical equipment, as well as training new employees on DME products. Additional duties include maintaining inventory, posting charges, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
