Description Position Purpose: The position performs the processing of vehicle registrations. Handles the legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles. Verifies costs for the accounting department, including equipment add-ons. Duties and Responsibilities: Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will titled. Prepares title documents verity customer’s purchase agreement. Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles on a daily basics. Verifies the funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid before processing title. Maintains a system to verify out-of-state-titles. Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles. Reconciles DMV schedule weekly, following up on titles. Processes yearly renewal of dealer rentals and company vehicles. Maintains inventory of in-house plates and sticker. Stays abreast of title regulations. Attends seminars held by local licensing bureaus and available training on title regulations. Other tasks as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: Self-motivated and diligent. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress. Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor. Must have good work ethics including maintaining a neat work area.
