Requirements Next Step: Complete the Culture Index Survey – https://surveys.cultureindex.com/s/yYvbQBY81G/124884 (Required to be considered for this position) What You'll Do Assist with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of commercial dock and door equipment Learn to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues under the guidance of experienced technicians Perform preventative maintenance on loading docks, overhead doors, dock levelers, and related equipment Maintain accurate service documentation and work orders Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in a clean and organized manner Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities Support senior technicians on service calls and projects Expected Outcomes (KPIs) Successfully complete required training and certification programs Demonstrate consistent improvement in technical skills and job knowledge Maintain accurate and timely service documentation Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times Provide professional customer service and communication Contribute positively to team productivity and customer satisfaction Demonstrate reliability, attendance, and accountability Background & Experience High school diploma or GED preferred Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn required Prior experience in construction, maintenance, automotive, industrial, or mechanical work is a plus Ability to lift, carry, and work with tools and equipment safely Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions Strong work ethic and positive attitude Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Material Handling Inc.’s commitment to you: A family owned and operated business that prioritizes well-being of employees.
