Job Details Level: Management Job Location: The Hub Taft - Orlando, FL 32837 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $20.16 - $20.16 Hourly Travel Percentage: Negligible Job Shift: Any Job Category: Warehouse Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager and Director of Logistics supports incoming, outgoing and the handling of goods. Major duties includes maintaining safety, quality, and daily operation of the warehouse. Essential Functions/Duties Manage the receiving and delivery of products in a timely manner. Ensures the proper handling and processing of incoming donation flow in and out. Training new employees in job duties. Enforce understanding and compliance with all Company policies and procedures; safety rules and government regulations. Oversee and responsible for all paperwork associated with the dock to ensure it is handled timely and correctly by employees. Inspects working conditions of tools and equipment needed for safe operation within the area and directs the correction of any improper or adverse condition that exists. Complete forklift job training and uses a forklift as necessary within the warehouse. Make quick and informed decisions based on the volume levels and communicates schedule to affected employees. Providing a clean, safe environment for all personnel and visiting customers. Additional Functions/Duties Make recommendations to Warehouse Manager and Director of Logistics on workflow, processes, and priorities. Responsible for meeting all KPI’s assigned. Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager, Director of Logistics. Qualifications The list below is representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability utilized while performing this job. Ability to adhere to the organization`s Core Principles. Knowledge of production, inventory control and transportation operations. Promote teamwork, motivate employees, and achieve expected results and goals. Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and or direction from supervisor Maintain a proper and professional attitude when dealing with customers, clients and co-workers. Education and/or Experience High School education or equivalent is required. A minimum of one-year warehouse/dock/transportation experience. Prefer working experience with people who have disabilities and/or previous Goodwill experience. Forklift certify (will receive training). Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have beginner knowledge of outlook, email and excel. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has supervisory responsibilities but no subordinate supervisors. Purchasing Authority No Purchasing Authority Special Conditions of Employment (e.g. physical or environmental requirements, irregular work schedule, required license or certification, background check) Regularly lift and /or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. Vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Standing and sitting for long periods. Perform work outside and inside; exposure to weather conditions, dust, dirt, electricity, noise, fumes and chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud (examples: metal can manufacturing department, large earth-moving equipment).
