Our client, a global logistics provider is seeking a Dock Lead to join their team in Garden City, GA (31405). In this role, you will oversee daily dock operations, guide staff, enforce safety protocols, and ensure shipments are handled efficiently and accurately.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid forklift certification.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations and dock procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

• Direct and guide dock staff in daily tasks, ensuring timely freight loading and unloading.
• Enforce safety regulations and conduct pre-shift equipment inspections.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Monitor dock floor to minimize bottlenecks, maintain organization, and ensure proper material handling.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading and packing slips for accuracy.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move freight.
• Train new and existing employees on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors, drivers, and logistics personnel.
