We are looking for a motivated and experienced Operations Dock Supervisor with a proven track record in managing warehouse/dock operations to join our dynamic team and help us continue our growth trajectory. The primary responsibilities of the Operation Dock Supervisor will be to lead, manage and develop relationships with Dock Workers and DOT CDL drivers and increase overall employee satisfaction to improve safety and retention. This position will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient daily operations and driving continuous improvement in our dock operations as well as resolving any issues that may arise. The ability to stay organized, multitask, and make quick decisions will be key to success in this role.

WAREHOUSE DOCK SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lead a group of hourly employees. Align our goals with customer goals.
• Strong knowledge of FMCSA, and safety protocols for indoor warehouse operation.
• Knowledge of E.L.D
• Proficient with basic computer skills/Microsoft Office programs
• Transportation experience on receiving and/or loading dock.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience a plus.
• Detail oriented with an ability to positively influence others across multiple groups
• Knowledge of electronic transportation platforms and software i.e., electronic logging devices.
• CDL is a plus

  Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

• Lead and direct a team of professional dock workers daily with a strong safety culture.
• Manage daily service requirements and customer needs.
• Supervise transportation and logistics for shipments to customers.
• Actively lead a team of 20 dock employees.
• Dispatch drivers during working shift hours. 5pm to 9:00pm.
• Focus on quality of loads, on time performance for customers, and care for customer products.
• Provide accurate and timely reports using KPIs performance metrics
• Work closely with vendors.
• Assist in staffing/recruiting when need arises.
