Job Description Load and unload different types of freight from/to different trailers or stage it on the dock using our electronic handheld device Housekeeping duties Use handheld device to note any exceptions - shortages/overages/damages/no bills Cube and/or reweigh freight as necessary using Dimensioner machine or manually when required. Assist co-workers and drivers in loading, unloading or finding freight Start heaters, placard trailers as required Load freight in specified sequence for maximum usage of trailer space and take pictures per procedure. Other duties may be assigned Qualifications Must have a MINIMUM of 2 years of forklift experience Must be punctual and have good attendance Cross-dock experience preferred Able to perform under pressure with tight deadlines Able to lift 50 lbs, sometimes repetitive Ability to multitask and manage various tasks successfully Developed problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making, and judgment skills Additional Information We Offer: Competitive wages Benefits – including short-term and long-term disability Ask About Our Dock To Driver Program!
