If you love the outdoors and Lake Oconee, this summer position is for you! You will assist in the daily operations and maintenance of the marina from May - August. [https://www.reynoldslakeoconee.com/careers/videos/dock-hands] Or copy and paste this link into any web browser: https://www.reynoldslakeoconee.com/careers/videos/dock-hands Duties: * Greets and serves marina customers, and identifies boating & fishing needs * Inspects and assists in maintenance of rental fleet boats, as well as the operation, docking, fueling, and cleaning of watercraft * Promotes Marina sales by assisting Marina shop operations, as needed * Assists in shuttle, as needed * Performs daily routine Marina maintenance functions, as needed * Assists forklift operators when launching and retrieving boat Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid GA driver’s license * Must possess a willingness to learn and to take direction * Must have ability to work with the public, good interpersonal and communication skills * Must be able to adapt to established safety guidelines * Physically able to bend, stretch, and lift up to 75 lbs. * Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods of time * Must be able to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions * Boating experience preferred * Good swimmers preferred

Responsibilities

The Dockhand will assist in the daily operations and maintenance of the marina from May through August, which includes greeting customers, inspecting and maintaining rental fleet boats, and handling watercraft operations like docking and fueling. They will also promote Marina sales, assist with shuttle services as needed, and perform routine daily maintenance functions.
