Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Doctor to join our medical team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our healthcare facility, you will provide high-quality medical care to both local residents and international visitors in this tropical paradise. Conduct comprehensive medical consultations and examinations for patients Diagnose illnesses and prescribe appropriate treatments and medications Perform minor surgical procedures as needed Coordinate with local hospitals and specialists for patient referrals and follow-ups Respond to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently Develop and implement health and safety protocols for our facility Provide health education and preventive care advice to patients Maintain accurate and confidential medical records Collaborate with the management team to ensure compliance with local healthcare regulations Participate in continuing medical education to stay updated with the latest medical advancements Adapt to the unique challenges of practising medicine in a remote island setting Qualifications Medical degree from an accredited institution Valid medical licence to practise in Vietnam (or eligibility to obtain one) Minimum of 3 years' experience as a practising doctor, with a focus on emergency care and general practice Strong diagnostic and treatment skills across a wide range of medical conditions Knowledge of tropical diseases and travel medicine Experience in telemedicine and remote patient care Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other Asian languages is advantageous Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited resources Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Empathetic approach to patient care with a focus on cultural sensitivity Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems Ability to adapt to and thrive in a tropical island environment Additional Information What awaits you...
