JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Acupuncturist + TCM practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality acupuncture treatments to patients, helping them achieve optimal health and wellness. This role requires a deep understanding of medical terminology and patient care, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a clinical setting.
As an Acupuncturist, you will be responsible for providing holistic treatment to patients, utilizing acupuncture techniques to alleviate pain, promote healing, and enhance overall well-being. Experience in women’s wellness and aesthetic acupuncture will be an added advantage. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. We are seeking self-motivated and proactive practitioners who are comfortable bringing in and managing their clients.

SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to acupuncture and holistic medicine.
  • Skills in the following areas will be more preferred:
  • Women’s health, pregnancy, fertility, and IVF support
  • Gynecological conditions such as endometriosis, PCOS and menstrual issues
  • Mental health, anxiety and depression
  • General practice acupuncture skills (i.e., pain management, stress, sleep and
  • digestive issues)
  • Herbal medicine prescription and granule herb dispensing
  • Fire cupping and moxibustion therapy
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hospital or clinical environment, always demonstrating professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining patient records and treatment documentation.
  • Empathy and compassion towards patients foster a supportive healing environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Registered and in good standing with the college

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health and medical histories to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles and other traditional Chinese medicine techniques ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on their responses to therapy.
  • Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and provide guidance on lifestyle changes that may enhance their overall health.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and any changes in conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients, including referrals when necessary.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in acupuncture and holistic health practices.
