As a Document Control Clerk, you play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the manufacturing workspace. The primary responsibility is to ensure all documentation and work orders are accurately prepared, processed, and distributed on time. This includes generating weekly work orders, completing job jackets for all manufacturing jobs, and maintaining documentation logs such as the Preventive Maintenance (PM) Log. You’ll also support other administrative functions and assist with training documentation and Document Control as needed. Overview and Responsibilities · Documentation - Ensure all required documents (forms, logs, reports) are accurately completed, signed, and filed. · Auditing – Review incoming paperwork for completeness and Document Control with company standards. · Data Entry - Generate and distribute weekly Plas-Fit work orders for all scheduled production runs. Create and manage work orders within the internal system. · Order Maintenance - Track and follow up on outstanding work orders to ensure timely execution. Perform routine data entry and maintain accurate records in spreadsheets and databases. · Manufacturing Assistance - Complete paperwork and assemble Job Jackets for all manufacturing jobs. Assist with daily updates to the Preventive Maintenance (PM) Log. · General - Provide clerical support, including filing, printing, scanning, and document organization. Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to produce and manage documents efficiently. Support training and training Document Control by assisting with documentation and tracking. Requirements Qualifications: Previous experience inside of a Quality Control system-driven environment High school diploma required. Strong clerical and organizational skills. High-level MS Office skills including Word/Excel templates and complex formatting Previous experience inside of a Quality Control system-driven environment Attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks. 8. Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a manufacturing or administrative support role. Demonstrated ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.
