Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller with 4-5 years of experience in the UAE, preferably within the interior fit-out or construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of document control processes, terminologies, and systems, and will be capable of working with minimal supervision. The role involves managing, organizing, and maintaining all project-related documents to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Document Management:
  • Maintain and control all project documentation, including drawings, contracts, specifications, reports, and correspondence.
  • Ensure all documents are properly filed, indexed, and stored in both hard and soft copies.
  • Manage the document control system (e.g., Aconex, Procore, or similar) to ensure efficient document flow and retrieval.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards and project requirements.
  • Ensure proper version control and distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordination and Communication:
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
  • Track and report on document status, including approvals, revisions, and deadlines.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Continuously improve document control processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Train and guide team members on document control procedures and best practices.
  • Compliance and Audits:
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and organize documents for internal and external audits.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports, meeting minutes, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive documents.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
