Description

Lake Country Christian School (LCCS) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Control Specialist to manage and oversee the flow, storage, and integrity of documents across the school’s departments. This individual will support our mission of educating with excellence from a biblical worldview by ensuring that all administrative, academic, and compliance documents are current, accurate, and properly archived in a secure and accessible manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain document control processes and procedures in accordance with school policies and applicable regulations.
  • Organize and maintain both digital and physical records related to:
  • Student records and transcripts
  • Staff and faculty documentation
  • Compliance and accreditation documents
  • Curriculum materials
  • Policies, procedures, and handbooks
  • Manage access to confidential files and ensure all sensitive data is handled in compliance with FERPA and internal policies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for audits, accreditation reviews, and record requests.
  • Coordinate version control for documents to ensure staff are working from the most current versions.
  • Provide training and support to staff regarding document management systems and protocols.
  • Collaborate with IT to maintain document storage systems and data backups.
  • Periodically review and purge outdated or obsolete records in line with retention policies.
  • Support administrative tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations or School Administrator.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in document control, records management, or administrative support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and document management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with FERPA, HIPAA, or other relevant privacy and compliance standards is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a Christ-centered team environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Standard office hours on campus, with occasional evening or weekend work during peak administrative periods.
  • Office environment with routine use of computers and standard office equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.94 - $26.42 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
