We are seeking a Document Control Specialist to help us manage technical documentation, engineering drawings, and work procedures across multiple product lines.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Document Control Specialist will be responsible for organizing, updating, and maintaining technical documentation including redline drawings, work instructions, SOPs, and controlled manuals. This role is critical for ensuring that engineering, production, and quality teams are always working from the latest approved documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–4 years of experience in document control, configuration management, or quality systems within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with CAD drawings, engineering change notices (ECNs), and redline markups.
  • Experience with ERP/PLM systems (Epicor, NetSuite, or similar) preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to create and edit technical documentation in MS Office and Adobe.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (not required).

Responsibilities
  • Manage the document control system for Hawk Excavator and EDDY Pump.
  • Review, update, and issue redline engineering drawings (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic).
  • Maintain controlled copies of procedures, manuals, and SOPs.
  • Develop and format work instructions and technical procedures in collaboration with engineers and production teams.
  • Ensure version control and document traceability for all engineering and production documents.
  • Support audits (internal, customer, ISO) by providing accurate and current documentation.
  • Assist with document translations (English/Spanish) where needed for cross-border teams.
  • Train staff on document control processes and systems.
