GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is a leading process engineering consulting and contracting company that specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.

The Opportunity


We are on the lookout for experienced Document Controllers to join our team located in either Ascot or Brisbane to work on a number of exciting projects – You will oversee the maintenance and distribution of project deliverables, ensuring the records are stored accurately and safely as well as maintaining our document management system efficiently.


Key Responsibilities


  • Managing and maintaining project deliverables using our document management system
  • QA/QC check to ensure all deliverables meet client’s requirements and company’s standards
  • Ensuring all controlled distribution done correctly as per distribution request form (DRF) and company procedure
  • Providing support to the project teams as well as generating document status reports
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure the efficiency of information exchange and that records are appropriately captured

About You


  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Document Control role within a engineering consultancy environment
  • Previous experience working with Vendor Documents are desirable
  • Strong knowledge of electronic document management systems and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • A keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multi stakeholders and balancing competing priorities
  • Experience with QDMS, Aconex and/ or InEight software would be advantageous
  • Full and Unrestricted Australian working rights
