We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Document Controller to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and flow of project information. Someone who is highly organised, detail-driven, and passionate about keeping complex projects running smoothly. You will have the opportunity to work at the heart of fast-paced engineering and design projects supporting teams, streamlining processes, and ensuring the right information reaches the right people at the right time. About the Role As a Document Controller, you’ll manage and coordinate project documentation across multiple teams and stakeholders. You’ll ensure systems are maintained, processes are followed, and information is controlled, accessible, and compliant at every stage of the project lifecycle. Responsibilities Carry out quality assurance checks on project information Upload and download of information from a common data environment/ electronic document management system Prepare and collate information as required Maintain control of records, schedules, registers and relevant information Follow HDR and project information management processes and procedures Assist with the configuration and setup of projects across a variety of data platforms Assist in project performance reporting Liaise with project team members to anticipate issues and plan around project deliverables/ programme Transfer of information across information management platforms as required by projects Managing and tracking of the project issues recorded in the information management tool Identifying misinformation against a tracker and actively chase relevant parties for this information. Provide support in the delivery of key objectives in compliance with the quality management systems on key projects Requirements Previous experience in a Document Controller or similar administrative role Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Experience working within engineering, construction, or consultancy environments (preferred) Proficiency with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) (e.g. Asite, 4Projects, BIM360, Aconex, Procore, BCDE, Kahua etc) Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities Robust working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite #LI-KK2 What We Believe HDR is our company.
