ABOUT THE ROLE

As Document Controller you will provide document control for complex, multi-site projects to ensure the delivery of compliant and traceable project documentation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Support the Project Team with obtaining required documents from Contractors and Suppliers to pass project phase gates or required for commissioning and gate closures.
• You’ll be the interface with the FEED Designer/Main Works Contractor’s document controller and systems to ensure that all contractual documents are correctly administered in compliance with National Grid’s policies and procedures.
• Be the SharePoint administrator; owning, maintaining and updating SharePoint with all relevant documentation.
• Produce and maintain Document Control Matix for outstanding documents/drawings on a monthly basis as part of management packs.
• Ensuring that all documents are logged, reviewed, comments collated, and that changes are identified and updated, you’ll distribute documents to relevant parties, making sure that documentation is controlled and traceable to form part of an audit trail.
• Regular travel to our office in Portishead for team meetings and occasional travel to our sites in the South West region to conduct audits.
