JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in document control, specifically within the construction industry. This role is critical to ensuring effective documentation, control, and management of project records throughout the project lifecycle.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Document Controller in the construction industry (mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of document control procedures and systems
  • Proficiency in document management software and MS Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and QA/QC documentation is a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in administration, engineering, or a related field
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

Responsibilities
  • Manage and control the flow of documents for construction projects (drawings, specifications, submittals, reports, etc.)
  • Ensure all documents are properly numbered, filed, and stored (both hard copies and digital formats)
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing project documents
  • Ensure timely distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders (project managers, engineers, contractors, clients, etc.)
  • Review documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Track document versions and revisions to maintain version control
  • Prepare regular reports on document status and workflows
  • Ensure compliance with company and project documentation standards
  • Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, and contractors for documentation needs
  • Archive project documents upon completion in an organized and accessible manner
