JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Document Controller with 2–3 years of experience in the contracting or construction field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing all project-related documentation to ensure proper record-keeping, easy retrieval, and smooth communication across teams and stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of document control experience in a construction or contracting company (main or fit-out).
  • Familiarity with construction project documentation processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of document control software like Aconex, Procore, or similar is a plus.
  • Well-organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Able to manage time effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, review, log, and distribute technical documents such as shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and site correspondences.
  • Maintain a systematic filing system (electronic and hard copy) for all project documents.
  • Ensure all documentation is updated, properly formatted, and version-controlled in line with company and project standards.
  • Follow up with consultants and subcontractors to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
  • Support the project team by preparing submission logs, trackers, and document status reports.
  • Coordinate document flow between site, office, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Archive project documents upon completion and assist in handover documentation.
