Document Controller – Project Service

At Aurecon, we are optimistic about the future. We are thinkers, solvers, and collaborators who work with our clients to deliver the infrastructure and assets that strengthen communities and create a sustainable future.

What You’ll Do

As a Document Controller in our Project Services team based in Brisbane, you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and delivers solutions with people and outcomes in mind.

  • Support a major long-term APLNG EPS programme for Origin, providing dedicated document control support from day one
  • Manage document number requests, transmittals, submittals and client information submissions
  • Quality-check documents, design reviews, revisions, titles and metadata across project systems
  • Support project users with document control processes and systems, including client platforms
  • Work with project teams, client stakeholders and the broader Project Services Hub to keep work flowing during busy periods
  • Help shape practical, best-practice processes as this significant programme continues to scale

What You’ll Bring

  • Document control experience in a project environment, ideally within engineering, energy, oil and gas, infrastructure or major project delivery
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with document numbers, revisions, metadata and quality requirements
  • Experience using document management systems; InEight / Innate exposure would be highly regarded but is not essential
  • A collaborative, team-first approach with the flexibility to support shifting project priorities
  • Strong time management and the ability to stay calm, organised and effective under pressure
  • Professional communication skills, including confidence to respectfully challenge timelines or requests when needed
