The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing, controlling, and maintaining all project documentation while ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Establish and maintain a comprehensive document control system for all project-related documents Receive, log, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents in a timely manner Ensure all documents are properly filed, stored, and easily retrievable Maintain and update document registers, databases, and archives Implement and monitor document control procedures and workflows Collaborate with project teams to ensure proper document version control and revision management Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with document control procedures Train and support team members on document control processes and systems Assist in the implementation and maintenance of electronic document management systems Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in document control Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and other project-related materials as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field 5+ years of experience in document control or similar role, preferably in construction, engineering, or related industries Proficiency in EDMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong knowledge of document control processes, best practices, and industry standards Excellent organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience with database management and data entry Familiarity with filing and archiving systems, including cloud-based document management solutions Document Control certification (e.g., IDCA) preferred Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards, including local document control regulations in Saudi Arabia Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Adaptability to new technologies and document management systems Familiarity with Arabic language and documentation is a plus Additional Information Aconex Professional Business Line: Energy and Sustainable Cities Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: General Engineering Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Site Supervision Profession: Construction Supervision and Surveying
