Job Description Here is the fully updated, polished version with the benefits added: Document Controller – Fixed Term Contract (until January 2028) Kanadevia Inova is seeking a Document Controller to support the project team at the Thameside Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) in Tilbury, Essex. This is an on-site role with an ASAP start through to 31 January 2028. Key Responsibilities Control the numbering, filing, storage, and retrieval of electronic and hard-copy project documentation in a timely and accurate manner. Manage and maintain the project document numbering system, ensuring all records are correctly filed and easily retrievable. Respond promptly to document requests, information searches, and general project support queries. Administer and maintain the PIRS document management system. Develop, implement, and maintain effective document control procedures, systems, and manuals. These duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature of the role and are not an exhaustive list. Responsibilities may vary depending on project and business requirements. Qualifications We’re Looking For Experience in document control within a construction, engineering, or project-based environment. Strong capability with EDMS platforms (e.g. 4Projects) and SharePoint. Valid CSCS, CCNSG, or SCC certification (desirable). Ability to work independently and proactively in a site-based environment. Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
