Location: Weatherwell Industrial Estate, Clondalkin
Role Type: On-Site, Full-Time Permanent(4.5 days/week)
Reports To: Head of Site Services
Hours: 37.5 hours/week Mon to Thurs: 8:00am – 4:30pm Friday (Early Finish): 8:00am – 1:00pm. With the Friday early finish it does not impact the salary, it is a perk of the role.
Davenham Switchgear Ltd, a Legrand group company, is seeking a capable, self-sufficient, and detail-oriented Document Controller to take ownership of our document control function while also supporting site administration across our engineering, projects, and site services teams.
This is a standalone, hands-on role. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a document control framework from the ground up, as well as managing the coordination of personnel mobilisations to project sites. The successful candidate will be highly organised, efficient, and able to work independently, liaising with internal departments and external partners.

DOCUMENT CONTROL EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years in a document control or technical administration role within an engineering, manufacturing, or construction environment.
  • Comfortable implementing systems or processes where there is no existing architecture.
  • An understanding of technical documents (e.g., engineering drawings, data sheets, quality records).
  • Familiarity with document management software or platforms such as SharePoint, Aconex, or similar.

ADMINISTRATIVE & MOBILITY COORDINATION SKILLS

  • Prior experience coordinating site access or travel documentation is highly desirable.
  • Capable of handling sensitive employee data with confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Experience managing workforce tracking tools or whiteboards is a plus.
