Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As the Document Controller, you’ll establish, review, and maintain robust document control systems, ensuring all project records, correspondence, and documentation are accurate, up-to-date, and easy to access. You’ll work within a supportive team environment, leading a core group of four and collaborating with the wider document control function across multiple areas.
This role is based in Cooma. If you’re not already a local resident, you’ll be required to relocate. We provide relocation assistance to help make the move seamless.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project registers and information systems (including Aconex) for contractor submissions, drawings, design variations, and quality inspections.
  • Managing the control, distribution, and tracking of all project documents and correspondence.
  • Overseeing the review process for contractor documents/drawings, ensuring timely feedback from reviewers.
  • Preparing regular project reports and complete administrative tasks as directed by senior management.
  • Supporting and implementing project procedures for Quality Assurance, WHS, Project Management, and Document Control.
  • Monitoring compliance with document control requirements, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Providing guidance and training on documentation procedures and standards to team members and other project teams.
  • Ensuring all information meets specified formats and quality standards.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, stakeholders, and colleagues, fostering trust through consistent high-quality support.
  • Regularling visit Snowy 2.0 site offices as required.
