Understand better who we are by visiting www.systra.in Context We require a Document & Information Lead assist us in managing the lifecycle of technical documents like drawings, specifications, and reports by creating and maintaining a document control system, ensuring all documents are accurately filed, version-controlled, and accessible to relevant personnel Missions/Main Duties Document management: Implement and maintain document control procedures, manage electronic and physical filing systems, and oversee the storage, retrieval, and archiving of documents. Quality assurance: Perform quality and compliance checks on engineering documents. Workflow and distribution: Process, track, and distribute documents to appropriate parties. This includes creating transmittals, managing revisions, and ensuring that the correct versions are accessible to project teams. System administration: Manage the document control system, including assigning document numbers, creating templates, and maintaining a list or register of all applicable documents. Coordination and communication: Act as a central point of contact for document-related queries, coordinating with project teams, engineers, vendors, and clients to manage the flow of information. Reporting: Prepare reports on document status, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and assist in preparing documentation for audits. Profile/Skills Education: Diploma in Engineering/ Graduate with min. 2+ years of work experience. Technical proficiency: Experience with electronic document management systems (EDMS) and strong computer skills are essential. Knowledge of engineering documentation is a plus. Organizational skills: Excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and strong file management skills are crucial. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders. Understanding of regulations: Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality control procedures is necessary.
