The Documentation and Report Engineer will play a critical role in managing and controlling all construction-related documentation for a large-scale battery manufacturing facility entering the initial phase of construction. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with document control systems such as Aconex, and a background in documentation management within large industrial or construction projects.
This is a flex hybrid model, requiring 2 days in the St. Thomas office.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain document control systems and procedures tailored to project needs, ensuring that all project documents meet industry standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Use Aconex to oversee the lifecycle of project documents, from creation and revision to final archiving, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
  • Ensure that document control processes align with project goals and regulatory requirements for battery production facilities.
  • Compile regular reports, summaries, and updates on project progress, issues, and changes for internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and compliance departments to gather accurate data for reporting purposes.
  • Prepare high-level presentations and summaries for executive stakeholders, detailing document status, key developments, and critical insights.
  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems for easy access to documents by construction teams, ensuring all records are secure and backed up regularly.
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, and construction teams to ensure seamless communication and information sharing, streamlining documentation access and updates.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for documentation inquiries, ensuring clarity and prompt resolution of any document-related issues.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify document accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure that all documentation aligns with industry standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines, especially those unique to battery manufacturing.
