Description

The Documentation Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Writing ERNs (Engineering Release Notices) for the initial release of drawings, files, and BOMs (Bills of Material)
  • Reviewing documents, files, and BOMs for completeness and accuracy, and ensuring that all required signatures are included on project documentation
  • Maintaining and supporting documentation release and change activity related to the engineering design and manufacturing process
  • Distributing CCNs (Change Control Notices) for review and approval, and writing CCNs as needed
  • Processing documents through the CCN process
  • Maintaining configuration files
  • Creating and assigning part numbers
  • Using the Internet to research and obtain vendor specifications and related documents
  • Maintain Supplier Identification list

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 2 years work experience in documentation, bookeeping or office support management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Accuracy and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of ERP and documentation control systems
  • US Citizen
