JOB SUMMARY:

The Documentation Specialist reports directly to the Senior Program Director for Supported Housing. He/she will work with the Senior Program Director to oversee program documentation with significant reporting, billing, and data entry responsibilities including reviewing billing notes, tracking staff productivity, running reports, and data analysis. The Documentation Specialist will assist Program Directors in completion of client billing, utilization and funding management.
This is a non-exempt position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA preferred and a minimum of 2 years experience in Human Services or related field required
  • Ability to assist Program Directors in developing and maintaining client billing records on an on-going basis.
  • Strong writing and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated skills utilizing Windows, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:

  • Review and complete billing procedures and ensure accuracy of entries
  • Develop and run reports regarding Utilization, staff productivity
  • Analyze data to report to Service Director regarding billing procedures
  • Run Reports on HCSIS alerts for Programs
  • Work closely with the DS service area QA Coordinator to support QA initiatives, ongoing requirements and coordination of licensing and accreditation reviews.
  • Complete varied administrative support tasks, such as copying, typing, filing, etc.
  • Complete short and long-term special projects as needed
  • Data entry for database operations as assigned.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
