Job Title: Information Management Lead
Main FunctionsThe Information Management (IM) Lead plays a critical role in bridging the Project Team (PT), Contractors, Suppliers, and Operations to ensure the successful delivery of Documents for Operations (DFO). This role is responsible for developing and executing the DFO strategy, overseeing documentation standards, and ensuring all deliverables meet Company specifications for operational readiness. The IM Lead also governs digital delivery systems and ensures seamless integration into the Company’s Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
Key ResponsibilitiesGovernance & Coordination
- Serve as the primary liaison between the PT and Operations to define documentation requirements, formats, and delivery tools.
- Develop and implement the DFO strategy, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and Company standards.
- Communicate DFO requirements to Contractors and Suppliers, ensuring full understanding and compliance.
- Facilitate DFO workshops, training sessions, and refreshers to reinforce expectations across all project disciplines.
- Identify and resolve documentation gaps, deviations, and issues; escalate concerns to the Information Management Lead as needed.
Documentation & Digital Delivery
- Oversee the creation and management of Turnover Completion Packages (TCPs) and Subsystem Packages within Aconex.
- Guide metadata structuring, workflow configuration, and redline integration to support digital delivery.
- Monitor and report on the progress of DFO deliverables from Contractors to PT and ultimately to Operations.
- Ensure all final documentation is progressively uploaded into the Company’s EDMS (Aconex/UDocs) with accurate metadata and attributes.
- Coordinate with EPCs to review monthly MDRs/VDRs and map documentation against DFO requirements.
- Integrate deliverables from Hexagon and other digital platforms into final turnover packages.
Operations Readiness & Compliance
- Collaborate with the Commissioning & Start-Up (C/SU) team to ensure all documentation supports operational readiness.
- Transmit Early and Final Deliverable Work Packages to Operations, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Conduct internal and external audits to assess DFO performance and compliance; ensure timely resolution of findings.
- Implement performance metrics to track DFO progress and support reporting requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline (preferred).
- Extensive experience in operations or project technical support, with a strong background in document management and digital systems.
- Expert-level proficiency in Information Management, including Aconex and other EDMS platforms.
- Solid understanding of documentation needs for oil and gas operations, including integrity-critical and start-up requirements.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence outcomes without direct authority.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
