Job Description Position : Engineering Documentation Technician 3 openings Location: Newark, DE Duration: 6+ Months Contract Pay rate: $21/hr on W2 Description Role is supporting documentation work, daily production checking parts that go to MRB near the warehouse. process rejected parts and see why they failed sometimes do RCA and talk to engineers assigned to those parts - PCVs, metals, plastics, take engineer input, then pass to suppliers and communicate from there. Mix of desk and dealing with parts, a lot of documentation and some technical work. Ideal candidate has basic understanding of mechanical or electrical or plastics or some kind of technical area. Someone who is good with the documentation, attention to detail, NCs. Responsibilities
The role involves supporting documentation work, including daily checking of parts destined for Material Review Board (MRB) near the warehouse and processing rejected parts to determine failure causes. This includes sometimes performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and communicating findings and engineering input (regarding PCVs, metals, plastics) to suppliers.
