Department Marketing statement
Seeking an experienced Documentum Administrator to manage and support Documentum and Captiva applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, upgrades, migrations, and cloud transformation, with hands-on experience migrating on-prem environments to the cloud. This role is critical to modernizing our enterprise content management systems while ensuring infrastructure remains up to date and compliant. The candidate will work closely with the application support team and team lead to maintain system stability and support our digital transformation efforts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor¿s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Business or Public Administration or related field. Six (6) years progressively responsible experience in diversified information systems, communications systems management, and technical experience in a large organization, including some experience in the development of major IT policies.
Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered if candidate can effectively demonstrate progressively responsible experience in diversified information systems, communications systems management, and technical experience in a large organization, including some experience in the development of major IT policies.

Responsibilities

This position is located in the Washington Metropolitan Area Transportation Authority (WMATA), Department of Information Technology (IT). This is a highly technical and professional position that involves maintaining, updating, and upgrading a growing, secure, and stable document management platform. The individual in this position performs highly technical work in the development, maintenance, and support of the SharePoint infrastructure. The employee performs the work as a member of the SharePoint Production Support team.
Monitors, supports, and troubleshoots to maintain a robust system with consistent availability, upgrade options, and increased capacity.
Assists in coordinating with WMATA departments and developing upgrade plans for WMATA Documentum requirements, maintenance, operations, and support issues.
Ensures efficient maintenance, support, and troubleshooting. Ensures efficiency and standards are being met according to the guidelines set forth by the Authority.
Troubleshoots intranet issues associated with Documentum users.
Remains abreast of new developments in document management applications and related technologies, to the extent that these developments may benefit WMATA.
Implements document management policies, procedures, and standards, and ensure their conformance with WMATA objectives.
