Puptown Girls Dog Lounge & Spa is growing and we are looking for a Part time Daycare Facility Attendant. This position will be for a minimum of 3-4 shifts per week and could potentially grow. You MUST be available to work on weekends.
✨Knowledge of positive dog training and understanding of dog body language, is critical for this position.
✨ You will bring positive energy, a great work ethic, a love for dogs to our growing team.
✨You are someone who has experience working with a group of dogs and has a good understanding of dog behaviour and dog safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:

✨Minimum 1 year experience as a dog walker, dog trainer, dog daycare attendant or other pet industry role is required
✨Basic understanding of dog behaviour and positive techniques to communicate with dogs
✨Must be able to work 3-4 shifts per week that vary from 6:30 am- 1 pm and 1 pm - 8 pm and or weekends
✨Passion for working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments
✨Have a fun, positive and professional personality
✨Customer driven and focused on client experience
✨Pet first aid is an asset
✨Ability to board dogs overnight in your home for additional pay is a very strong asset

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

✨Monitor and control safe & active play in the dog daycare
✨Be on their feet for a majority of the shift
✨Pick-up and clean-up after dogs
✨Have basic ipad skills and knowledge of social media such as Instagram and Facebook
✨Feed and administer medication to dogs (as appropriate)
✨Keep accurate logs and records of dog behaviour and activities
✨Tidy, clean, mop, and disinfect facility
